Wallonia has several gas distribution grid operators, and the distribution tariff on your bill depends on which one serves your municipality. Suppliers are free to sell across the whole region, so the choice of contract is the same everywhere in Wallonia even though the network cost is not.

Who does what in Wallonia
The CWaPE is the Walloon energy regulator. It approves the distribution tariffs applied by the regional grid operators, supervises the market and handles regional disputes.
The grid operators own and maintain the pipes. They read your meter, connect and disconnect supply, and intervene on faults — none of which changes when you switch supplier.
The supplier sells you the gas and issues the bill. It is the only one of the three you choose, and the only one whose price appears in the table above.
Gas is not available everywhere
Large parts of rural Wallonia have no gas distribution network at all, and connecting a property that has none is a civil-engineering project rather than an administrative step. Where there is no pipe there is no contract to compare, whatever the tariffs say.
If your street is served, your connection is identified by an EAN code printed on your bill. That code, not your address, is what a supplier uses to take over the supply point.
Regional protections
Wallonia applies a protected-customer status that is broader than the federal one, granting a reduced social tariff to households meeting regional criteria. It is granted on the basis of your situation rather than your contract, and it follows you if you switch supplier.
The region also runs its own procedure for households in payment difficulty, with the grid operator stepping in as supplier of last resort. Contacting the CWaPE early is materially better than waiting for the procedure to start on its own.
